 Menus Not Working: QW 5.3 Windows 10

Howdy y'all,

We upgraded to QuoteWerks 5.3 (Build 2) today. My menus do not work. The first time I hover over a menu, it turns blue. When I click, nothing happens.

Any ideas?

I've had, very sporadic, reports of this over the past few months - it doesn't appear to be a consistent issue, and not specific to a certain build of QW.

Do you have an alternative user logon you can try? i.e. is it just your login?

If it works for other users, use one of those logins to go Utilities > User Maintenance > Select your login > Preferences

Go to the appearance tab and set the drop-down to "(System)"

Log back in as yourself, does it now work?

I know that you have a ticket that the below information was gathered on, but for anyone else who comes across this thread, I wanted to I wanted to request they send theirs as well. We still don't have it narrowed down, but every bit of info we can get will help.

Generally minimizing the program then maximizing it will temporarily resolve the issue. We are actually trying to track down the exact OS details that might be causing this issue.

System Information files (NFO) contain information about the hardware and software environment of your computer. This file is often requested by support professionals as a way to diagnose and troubleshoot problems with a software application.

To obtain a System Information file (NFO):
On the keyboard, hold down the WINDOWS key and then hit R.
In the Run window, type MSINFO32 and then click OK.
In the System Information window, click the File menu and then Save.
Set the desired folder to save to, enter a file name, and then click Save.
Email the NFO file to support@quotewerks.com
