QuoteWerks gives the option default a shipping method to Enter Manually, Add up shipping charges in each line item, or Based on Weight. But it seems that there is always a manual intervention needed. Can we have a default dollar amount that will appear on every quote? Or is there or can there eventually be a way for you to specify a dollar amount per unit of weight?

I have script for a client that automatically sets a $ value on each new quote that's loaded - you could probably do it by weight, but that would be an extended version of what's already been written.

Hi Carnegy ~

We have a feature request in with development for this, I have added your contact information to that request so if the feature does become available you will be notified. In the meantime, unless you have a shipping value in each item and choose "add up each line item" - which doesn't take quantity into account and requires pre-loading of data, then a script is going to be your best bet to accomplish this.

Best Regards,
