Is there a way to set QV Mobile up to enable me to be in the field with a tablet and create a quote (maybe from one of my templates or from scratch), present it to the client with their quantity changes, them accept the quote, and them pay for it right there and then?

That would be the ideal use for it. Otherwise, maybe someone could help me to see the real value. No offense intended if it works differently than I think/need.

Thanks!
Chris

You build your quote in QuoteValet Mobile (QVM) and then click submit, this sends an email with a QuoteValet quote to the client as if it came from QuoteWerks itself. The client can then indeed accept and pay for it as normal.

I'm not aware of a way to build the quote, on an iPad for example, hand over the iPad and they then sign it off.

You can add products on the fly, so you can essentially build one from scratch of you want.

Thanks for the info Matt! I'll have to investigate this new tool more.

To be honest though, I thought the real value was that you can walk a client through a proposal via the QV Mobile template, selecting the options wanted, then follow through with the acceptance.

Otherwise it seems that it might be easier/just and easy to just send the QV client link to your own email address, open it up on a tablet with the customer, then go through it there.

Maybe GV Mobile is just still in infant stages. I can see potential value for me, but not as much as I was thinking as of now. I'm still investigating though.

It works very well in certain situations (exhibition floor, for example) but it certainly is in its infancy.
It does seem to be where the product is going.
