QuoteWerks has a flexible layout designer
that enables you to customize the look and feel of the
document you present to your customer. We have
more layouts in addition to
the sample layouts available with your QuoteWerks

Utilities:
These utilities were written by Aspire
Technologies, Inc. using Visual Basic and the QuoteWerks
API. These utilities are offered for free "as-is" with no
technical support. These utilities require QuoteWerks 3.0 (Build 17 and higher)
or QuoteWerks 4.0 (all Builds). Some features in the
utilities may assume functionality found only in newer
QuoteWerks 4.0 builds.
Excel Utility
Bring QuoteWerks fields (header and items) to a
pre-formatted XLS file. Create a folder called '\QuoteWerks\Applets\ExcelUtility' and extract the ZIP file to
this location. Instructions are included in the ZIP
file.
Multiple
Product Source Search
Search for products across multiple product sources. Create a folder called '\QuoteWerks\Applets\ProductSearch' and extract the ZIP file
to this location. (The source code for this utility is
available in the QuoteWerks SDK.)
Rounding
Utility
Round line items on the current document to the nearest
decimal place or multiple. Create a folder called '\QuoteWerks\Applets\RoundingUtility' and extract the ZIP file
to this location. (The source code for this utility is
available in the QuoteWerks SDK.)
Group Part Number Builder
Creates a Manufacturer Part Number for Group Header lines
created by Bundles, Configurations, or on-the-fly based on a
Custom field in each member of the Group. For instance if
the CustomText field for Line 1 contains an 'A', Line 2
contains a '3' and Line 3 contains a 'T', the part number
generated would be 'A3T'. Create a folder called '\QuoteWerks\Applets\GroupPartNumber'
and extract the ZIP file to this location.
Import Dell HTML Quotes
Import quotes emailed to you by your Dell Rep as an
attachment. Create a folder called '\QuoteWerks\Applets\ImportDellQuote'
and extract the ZIP file to this location.
Tech Data Shopping Cart Importer
Imports the items in the Tech Data Shopping cart into the
currently open quote. Create a folder called '\QuoteWerks\Applets\TDShoppingCartImporter'
and extract the ZIP file to this location. Instructions are
included in the ZIP file.
The description of products in the Tech Data prodcod.exe and
prodlist.zip files (used by QuoteWerks) include abbreviations and
acronyms that can be cryptic. The Tech Data website contains
“customer friendly” descriptions. To use these descriptions, you can
find the products on the Tech Data website and export the search
results or shopping cart list from the Tech Data website. Then, you
can use the "Tech Data Shopping Cart Import" or use the Paste
Special wizard (available in a recent
release of QuoteWerks) to import those items with the “customer
friendly” descriptions into the QuoteWerks quote.
Dictionaries:
Dictionary files are used by the QuoteWerks
4.0 Spell Checker. The default dictionary file distributed with
QuoteWerks is 'SpellUS.lex' which is the 'English - US'
dictionary. You can delete the SpellUS.lex
file from your QuoteWerks 4.0 directory and replace it with
one of the following Language Dictionaries:
The QuoteWerks User Manual is in Microsoft Word 97 format. If you do not have Microsoft Word 95 or later installed on your computer, you will need to download and install this free Microsoft Word viewer to view the QuoteWerks online user manual found under the Help View Manual menu. When you purchase QuoteWerks, a printed user manual is included with the software.
